Foresight Finishing opened for business on December 2010, founded and co-owned by brothers Casey and Joe Weizel, and in a way inspired by their mentor Steve Forsythe. Casey and Joe have a combined 30+ years of plating industry experience which they’ve acquired in plating operations back on their hometown Minneapolis, MN. During their years of experience, they had the opportunity to work and execute from bottom to top on all functions relevant to a plating operation such as production, quality, engineering, customer service, and outside sales.
Foresight Finishing was strategically launched in Tempe, Arizona. Year after year the company has shown a consistent growth on its customer base and revenue, allowing for an inherent growth of the team’s size and expertise, and the operative capabilities. In May 2017, Foresight Finishing locally re-located its operation by acquiring a new building that provided 40% footprint increase which was capitalized into a capacity extension that encompassed with the company’s future growth needs.
In September 2020 Casey and Joe decided that, in order to provide Foresight Finishing with a corporate-like structure and discipline that allowed for sustainable further growth, a management re-structure was needed. Consequently, all management functions were renewed by bringing onboard a group of skilled corporate-instructed team players that enabled Foresight Finishing with a refreshed operating system. This included, a revamped company culture, and an operating execution that observes six-sigma and lean manufacturing tools, all levels SQDC communication, data-driven decision making, and above all, a people-driven leadership.
Today our 60+ employees’ company is operating as a synergetic hybrid that combines the supplier-to-customer closeness of a small shop, with the highly efficient operating discipline of a world-class corporate factory giving Foresight Finishing a competitive edge. Our strategy aims for growth in capacity and customer-base by empowering a team that harnesses 11 years of in-house cultivated expertise and focuses on win-win interactions that benefits our customer’s supply chain and is highly appealing when establishing new partnerships.
Foresight Finishing is committed to always provide its current and future customers with the highest quality and customer service, and recognizes the value of their team members to the business’ success. We will attain excellence by always pursuing perfection. Casey and Joe Weizel are proud of what has been accomplished; in part, they credit their success to Steve Forsythe, whom they consider their mentor. Steve showed Casey, Joe, and Stephanie (Joe’s wife) the core pillars of the business and coached them on how to carry themselves towards success. Sadly, Steve passed away, but his memory lives on.
